The thermostat is a core safety component that enables automatic power-off when water boils and protection against dry burning. The mainstream type is the bimetallic strip snap-action thermostat, which features fast response, low cost, high reliability, and dual protection. It is widely used in various electric kettles and small electric heating appliances.

• Steam temperature control (main switch): When water boils, it generates 100°C steam, which triggers the bimetallic strip to act, immediately cutting off the power supply to avoid continuous boiling.
• Dry-burn protection temperature control (secondary protection): It is closely attached to the heating plate. When there is no water or the steam switch fails, the temperature of the plate rises to 130℃±10℃ triggering a power cut to prevent fire caused by dry burning.
